Death Note

A twist to the conventional anime that we all expect. A dark theme runs throughout as the 2 main characters engage in Sherlock-esh style mind games where the results are based on who lives and who gets killed. The concept revolves around a murder with a unique way of killing (writing a name in a book) against a squad of police detectives led by a quirky genius. Added into the mix are death gods and it makes for an awesome mind game of a movie. I would advise having a sharp mind to fully enjoy this movie as it may be difficult to follow if you are not paying attention. A thoroughly enjoyable movie for late teens and up. Changed my view of the anime culture and style.
