Clueless
Cher, a high school student in Beverly Hills, must survive the ups and downs of adolescent life. She is perceived as superficial, but it rather hides her wit, charm, and intelligence which helps her to deal with relationships, friends, family, school, and the all-important teenage social life. I absolutely love this romantic comedy as it is filled with high school drama, teenage girls and shopping, and a heavy dose of humour. Clueless is a really good movie for teenage girls, especially the ones looking for lots of laughs and also some romance. As if you wouldn't love this film!

Cinderella
It was really, really hard to chose my favourite animation film because when i was a little girl i would dream of being a princess and i would watch every princess Disney movie there was possible, over and over again. I finally narrowed it down to Cinderella. its another classic Disney fairytale movie that includes a fairy godmother, talking mice, evil stepmother, evil stepsisters and their evil cat, and not fogetting the very handsome prince. The story is when Cinderella's cruel stepmother prevents her from attending the Royal Ball, she gets some unexpected help from the lovable mice and from her fairy godmaother. The film Cinderella is over 60 years old now but its still popular with young girls today. This film is my favourite fairytale story that has also taught me dreams can come true.

Tangled
One of Disney’s great comeback’s, just to show companies
like Pixar whose BOOOSSSSS!! Ok if you haven’t already watched this movie, GO! Right
now. Get to the DVD store ASAP, seriously you will not regret watching this
movie.
Tangled is Disney’s take on Rapunzel, you know, the girl
with the really long hair? Well if you have no idea what I’m on about don’t
sweat, just go watch the movie!
So the movie starts to kick in when the very handsome bandit
Flynn Rider, enters this tower, where you guessed it, Rapunzel is there with a
frying pan and knocks the s**t outta him…anywaayyss Rapunzel has been trapped
all her life by her mother, for one particular reason, and all this time all
Rapunzel wants to do is see the lanterns (probably not following – so like I said,
go watch the movie!) …they end up on this fun-filled adventure where duuuhhhh
they fall in love and blah blah blah all that really cute stuff. But don’t
worry, for those of you who are cringing reading this, don’t worry there’s not
much of that. PLUS I guarantee there will be two characters that you will love
no matter what, it’s a horse and chameleon, Maximus and Pascal.
I am a huge fan of animation, so that’s probably why I love
this movie, but take my word for it guys, it’s reaaaalllllyyy goooooodddd, and
you will no doubt laugh here and there…

Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters
Bam bam the witch is dead, and again and
again and again, in so many gore filled ways, how could it be bad. An awesomely
gorey thrill ride. If you have a self-diagnosed
short attention span like me then this is the movie for you. Violence every
couple of minutes with both dark and light moments spread throughout the movie.
Thoroughly entertaining for what it is but if you are a bit squeamish then
maybe not for you. A movie with violence and a hint of plot and romance but it’s
still just a fun movie.

Grown Ups
Filled with an all star comedian cast, this family fun movie is a good film to sit down and share a laugh with all ages. The collaboration with Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade and Rob Schneider is a win for the whole family, as each actor has there own sense of humour, meaning it will appeal to the majority of family members.
The movie takes you back in time watching young high-school, pimple faced, teenage boys playing their final game of basketball. These five best friends are then shown all "Grown Up" and are rekindled after the death of their beloved basketball coach. The movie reminisces their glory days attempting to relive it by taking their families on a trip where some of there fondest memories were made together.
The stellar line up of natural comedians pay off as each scene flows well with endless amounts of crude jokes. The film portrays itself as an ordinary home video that overloads with hearty family values to stick by.
Now i'm not saying this is the best family comedy i've seen but its a good one to get the whole family together for a laugh. Grown ups no doubt played safe in delivering PG humour for all.
Not convinced? Watch the trailer and make the decision yourself - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBEj1hyQBFs

The Avengers
Who doesn’t love superheroes? They save us and kick ass and normally win, they smash the baddies. Therefore if one superhero is awesome, then multiple superheroes are automatically amazing x infinity.
The avengers is a great movie despite
having a few logic flaws and capping certain heroes to level the playing field,
it is thoroughly enjoyable to watch and be excited by. The movie teaches great
values such as teamwork, perseverance, sacrifice and solidarity. This classic
good versus evil plot for aliens to take over the world has been done time and
time again but with lovable characters and super high tech on both sides it
still feels unpredictable and fun. The comedy aspect of this film is value for
money alone with Robert Downey jnr providing witty remarks and jokes from the
other heroes leaving you laughing whenever you think of it.

A Nightmare on Elm Street
A Nightmare on Elm St, classic 80's horror movie, is my all time favourite. the plot revolves around several teenagers who are harrassed and killed in their dreams by Freddy Krueger. The reason behind Freddy Krueger's killings is from a long time ago, a secret the parents of the teenagers hold.
A Nightmare on Elm St. is my favourite horror movie as it is an original, creative and well played out horror film. There is a perfect level of fright, gore and imagination. Freddy Krueger portrayes this image of a clown-like bogeyman who haunts your dreams, which ultimately makes him a good, fear-inspiring villian. There is virtually no way of stopping him or escaping from him. A Nightmare on Elm St. is a classic go-to scary film for a movie night in.

The Hills Have Eyes 2
This movie scared the poop out of me.
The premise
is that some army people are on a mission and they come across some freaky
people. These freaky people slide in and out of the tunnels and snatch
unsuspecting people, dragging them off into the caves through inhumanly small
gaps. I hated this movie as scary films scare me too well, and the jumpiness of
the cavecrawlers attacks left me on edge. I would strongly recommend avoiding
this movie if you are anything like me (smart, handsome, awesome and sexy) or
wanting to do anything cave related with a calm mind.
Be smart and run.

Death Note
A twist to the conventional anime that we all expect. A dark
theme runs throughout as the 2 main characters engage in Sherlock-esh style
mind games where the results are based on who lives and who gets killed. The concept
revolves around a murder with a unique way of killing (writing a name in a
book) against a squad of police detectives led by a quirky genius. Added into the mix are death gods and it makes
for an awesome mind game of a movie. I would advise having a sharp mind to
fully enjoy this movie as it may be difficult to follow if you are not paying
attention. A thoroughly enjoyable movie for late teens and up. Changed my view
of the anime culture and style.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil
Tucker and Dale vs Evil is a mix between my two favourite movie genres, comedy and horror, which is why I love this movie so much. The story surrounds two hillbillies named Tucker and Dale that are headed to their "fixer-upper" holiday cabin to drink beer and have a good time. they are soon faced with a group of preppy college kids who obviously assume the worst from Tucker and Dale's looks (in-bred, chainsaw wielding killers). its not long before Tucker and Dale's holiday takes a bloody (literally) and hilarious turn for the worse. I love this movie simply because it puts a twist on the classic 'teens in the woods' horror movie, and adds a funny side to it. Both actors of Tucker and Dale create a believable story and their charm makes you care about them. This movie succeeds in both physical and verbal comedy, plus the blood and gore.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding
A hilarious take on a different culture,
filled with quirky characters, practical jokers and a love affair across
cultures makes for a hilarious watch. The father is the making character of this
movie with an obsession of Windex as a miracle cure, ridiculous amounts of Greek
pride, self-centred belief in himself and a low intelligence make him the star
of this story and he provides most of the humorous parts of this great film. This
movie is a bunch of laughs that keeps you giggling hitting most types of humour
and having a little something to make everyone laugh. Definitely recommend for
anyone who wants to sit and laugh whilst watching a film with the lady half.

Hangover (2009)
Directed
by Todd Phillips. With Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha, Ed
Helms.
Looking for a great comedy? Look no further… Hangover takes
care of that for you. In a nutshell the movie revolves around 4 guys (Doug,
Alan, Phil and Stu) going to Las Vegas
for a typical bucks night, but wake up to find out they have no recollection of
what happened last night and find that their friend (Doug) is missing. The movie
unravels to a stream of events which leads them to finding clues of what
happened last night to help them find Doug, who is getting married the next
day.
What’s that? This movie doesn't sound interesting? Pffft,
unlike other movies, this movie starts from the ending, does a flashback, and
ends with the wedding…how many other movies do that? None =P… whhhaaattt still
not interested?!? Well it has, Mike Tyson, a Tiger, a lost baby, a stolen
police car, an Asian gangster (Mr. Chow), a Stripper, gambling, a Las Vegas
wedding…which all resulted from drugs. So what can we learn from this movie? Don’t
invite a hairy bipolar man to your bucks night, or do it and have story to remember
=P.
Wrong Turn 4
So here we go, a movie review for a horror film...yay!!!!.......JOKING! I feel no excitement or pleasure what so ever to do this. Thinking of horror films honestly makes me want to just hide underneath the person next to mes buttt! Sooooo let's get this over with.
This happens to be the second or third horror film I have watched, and the reason I choose this one is because with the other two, I didn't really watch it, it was more like hearing the movie. It was still scary as hell though!!
The movie is about three particularly sexy looking incest hilbillys, mmmmm so sexy. Although I'm scared s**tless at the slightest things, it is easily said wrong turn 4 falls under the poorly made category of scary movies. It's predictable plot twists with all characters inevitably leading to their deaths (just like all the previous movies). Harshly I admit the costume designers didn't preform to their peak when creating the incest hilbillys character transformation. The unrealistic poorly designed costumes in my opinion resembles a Halloween mask I'd pick up at a bargain store. This in my delight makes the the movie more bearable turning a horror movie to the directors regret a comedy.
If you seek a bearable scary movie to climb the stairs to controlling your fears wrong turn 4 will easily be that baby step. The so called 'horrific' scenes will leave you actually laughing then hiding behind your hands. So for all you scary movie, full moon, dark alley way loving friends Wrong Turn 4 is elevator music to your life.
please comment below for your opinon :D
