Clueless

Cher, a high school student in Beverly Hills, must survive the ups and downs of adolescent life. She is perceived as superficial, but it rather hides her wit, charm, and intelligence which helps her to deal with relationships, friends, family, school, and the all-important teenage social life. I absolutely love this romantic comedy as it is filled with high school drama, teenage girls and shopping, and a heavy dose of humour. Clueless is a really good movie for teenage girls, especially the ones looking for lots of laughs and also some romance. As if you wouldn't love this film!

Cinderella

It was really, really hard to chose my favourite animation film because when i was a little girl i would dream of being a princess and i would watch every princess Disney movie there was possible, over and over again. I finally narrowed it down to Cinderella. its another classic Disney fairytale movie that includes a fairy godmother, talking mice, evil stepmother, evil stepsisters and their evil cat, and not fogetting the very handsome prince. The story is when Cinderella's cruel stepmother prevents her from attending the Royal Ball, she gets some unexpected help from the lovable mice and from her fairy godmaother. The film Cinderella is over 60 years old now but its still popular with young girls today. This film is my favourite fairytale story that has also taught me dreams can come true.

Tangled

One of Disney’s great comeback’s, just to show companies like Pixar whose BOOOSSSSS!! Ok if you haven’t already watched this movie, GO! Right now. Get to the DVD store ASAP, seriously you will not regret watching this movie.

Tangled is Disney’s take on Rapunzel, you know, the girl with the really long hair? Well if you have no idea what I’m on about don’t sweat, just go watch the movie!

So the movie starts to kick in when the very handsome bandit Flynn Rider, enters this tower, where you guessed it, Rapunzel is there with a frying pan and knocks the s**t outta him…anywaayyss Rapunzel has been trapped all her life by her mother, for one particular reason, and all this time all Rapunzel wants to do is see the lanterns (probably not following – so like I said, go watch the movie!) …they end up on this fun-filled adventure where duuuhhhh they fall in love and blah blah blah all that really cute stuff. But don’t worry, for those of you who are cringing reading this, don’t worry there’s not much of that. PLUS I guarantee there will be two characters that you will love no matter what, it’s a horse and chameleon, Maximus and Pascal.

I am a huge fan of animation, so that’s probably why I love this movie, but take my word for it guys, it’s reaaaalllllyyy goooooodddd, and you will no doubt laugh here and there…

If this is all gibberish to you watch the trailer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ip_0CFKTO9E

Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters

Bam bam the witch is dead, and again and again and again, in so many gore filled ways, how could it be bad. An awesomely gorey thrill ride. If you have a self-diagnosed short attention span like me then this is the movie for you. Violence every couple of minutes with both dark and light moments spread throughout the movie. Thoroughly entertaining for what it is but if you are a bit squeamish then maybe not for you. A movie with violence and a hint of plot and romance but it’s still just a fun movie.

Grown Ups

Filled with an all star comedian cast, this family fun movie is a good film to sit down and share a laugh with all ages. The collaboration with Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade and Rob Schneider is a win for the whole family, as each actor has there own sense of humour, meaning it will appeal to the majority of family members.

The movie takes you back in time watching young high-school, pimple faced, teenage boys playing their final game of basketball. These five best friends are then shown all "Grown Up" and are rekindled after the death of their beloved basketball coach. The movie reminisces their glory days attempting to relive it by taking their families on a trip where some of there fondest memories were made together.

The stellar line up of natural comedians pay off as each scene flows well with endless amounts of crude jokes. The film portrays itself as an ordinary home video that overloads with hearty family values to stick by.

Now i'm not saying this is the best family comedy i've seen but its a good one to get the whole family together for a laugh. Grown ups no doubt played safe in delivering PG humour for all.

The Avengers

Who doesn’t love superheroes? They save us and kick ass and normally win, they smash the baddies. Therefore if one superhero is awesome, then multiple superheroes are automatically amazing x infinity.

The avengers is a great movie despite having a few logic flaws and capping certain heroes to level the playing field, it is thoroughly enjoyable to watch and be excited by. The movie teaches great values such as teamwork, perseverance, sacrifice and solidarity. This classic good versus evil plot for aliens to take over the world has been done time and time again but with lovable characters and super high tech on both sides it still feels unpredictable and fun. The comedy aspect of this film is value for money alone with Robert Downey jnr providing witty remarks and jokes from the other heroes leaving you laughing whenever you think of it.
